Grand Traverse

The Grand Traverse was a well-executed race event. While I didn't use any of the aid stations, they found a way to have them in some very remote areas. It's very logistic-heavy and racers are on their own to figure it out. There's a Facebook group, so I recommend using that if you don't have a designated transport (we used Dawn to Dusk MTB). Unfortunately, they seemed to only have unisex shirt sizes, and I'm swimming in the Small. They only do a podium for the top three finishers for women and men, not for all categories. Overall, I'd do the race again, but not because it's women-friendly and more because it's challenging as hell.
